Wait… does IBM even make computers anymore, or did they just vanish into corporate ghost mode? 👻💻
Had one of those random shower thoughts, when’s the last time anyone actually saw an IBM-branded computer? Like… has it been a decade? More? 😅 Then you check their LinkedIn and they’re out here flexing like they still run the tech game. Sooo… what do they actually do now?
Yeah, I know they sold off the ThinkPad stuff to Lenovo forever ago and dumped a bunch of hardware divisions too. But still, kinda wild how the company that basically invented the PC just slowly drifted into the background. Now it's all about AI, cloud, consulting, and “solutions” (which I’m pretty sure is code for “we do tech stuff, don’t ask too many questions” 😂). They’ve officially leveled up into a corporate buzzword generator.
What do you think did IBM gracefully step out of the spotlight, or did they just get outplayed by newer, flashier players?
