DJI Zenmuse L3 LiDAR System: Overview
For high-end aerial surveying, check out the DJI Zenmuse L3. This airborne long-range LiDAR system combines a 1535 nm LiDAR, dual 100‑MP RGB cameras, and a precision POS for fast mapping.
- 1535 nm long-range LiDAR: Captures low-reflectivity targets at distances up to 950 m (approx. 3,120 ft). Map large areas and distant structures without extra flights.
- Two 100‑MP RGB mapping cameras: Capture high-resolution imagery that pairs with LiDAR. Visuals have never been more accurate.
- High-precision POS and 3‑axis gimbal: Synchronizes location and orientation with sensor data. You get point-cloud accuracy and simple post-processing.
