If you ask me, I loved the upgrade. I always found Windows very slow and not very compatible when it comes to switching between devices. Me being a content person throughout the day, it's important for me to ensure my devices are in sync. And that way, the Mac has been a saviour for me. Yes, it's pricey but apart from the battery which does wear off after a few years and you need to change etc. I did not face much issues overall with basic maintenance.
Used Windows laptops forever, now I’m wondering if a MacBook is actually worth the hype (or just pretty)
I’ve only ever used Windows computers. So I've never really seen the point of spending $1,500+ on a MacBook when I could get better specs for less. But lately, I’ve been seeing friends with M-series Macs getting great battery life, zero viruses, and somehow everything just works.
That said, I’m worried about the usual stuff: locked-down repairability, USB-C everything, weird app compatibility, etc.
So, to anyone who made the jump from Windows to MacBook: was it actually worth it? Thanks!
