It's not even about Lomi. Yeah you're doing good job, but those devices are not affordable enough for everyone to buy to have massive impact. You do it for your peace of mind and I don't judge that.
Is Lomi saving the planet or just making expensive dirt?
I keep seeing ads for the Lomi composter, and I’m honestly tempted. The idea of turning food scraps into dirt overnight sounds cool. But I can't tell if it's actually worth it or just cleverly packaged greenwashing.
It’s not cheap, and I don’t want another fancy appliance collecting dust. Does it genuinely reduce waste or just make people feel better about their scraps? Anyone here bought one and felt it was actually a good investment?
Trying to decide if it’s a smart sustainability move or just another expensive feel-good gadget. Thoughts?

I like this thing because composting is quite messy as a process. I've been gardening myself and I do use natural composting as a process. But Lomi kind of makes me feel that someone just made that process so hassle-free. This should be a great one for those who love growing their own food, which, is what we SHOULD do! Yeah it is expensive but so is everything else we are buying that is NOT SUSTAINABLE. 🙂
